Owner | Stager | Designer
I am the area’s only stager with over 2 decades of industry paint and coatings expertise and as such have earned the distinction of transforming spaces and delivering projects with Curated Color Services that perform above average in our geographic market.
I headed the global color marketing departments of PPG Industries and The Sherwin-Williams Company, successfully forecasting trends and developing finishes for interior product manufacturers. In early 2016, I decided to shift my focus from a corporate environment to one where I can contribute directly to my community.
Home staging is the precise discipline for me to apply my expertise of marketing and my innate skills in the areas of color, surface materials, finishes and space planning so I can assist homeowners and listing agents in the preparation of their property for the real estate market.
For Rendered Nest, Interior ReDesign is the art of refreshing one’s home in an environmentally conscious way utilizing as many of a client’s existing furnishings as possible. This service is supported and fueled by my other passions and experiences of travel, photography, trend research and repurposing.
For over 20 years I was a member of the non-profit international association, Color Marketing Group, (CMG) and still consider it, along with the colleagues and friendships I made, an incredible resource.
Throughout my career, I have been published in various trade journals and have spoken as an expert on color and trend/forecast related topics throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
I am active on the board of advisors at East Carolina University where I earned my BS in Interior Design. Additionally, I am one of nine original board members of Greensboro’s first creative-reuse non-profit organization, Reconsidered Goods.
Rendered Nest is a member of a non-profit independent business organization, Triad Local First.
